BATESes celebrating 65th wedding anniversary

Paul and Patricia BATES of Fairfield will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Sunday.

Paul BATES and Patricia COURTNEY were married Nov. 27, 1949. at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield.

Mr. BATES was a farmer and Yoder Feed salesman, and Mrs. BATES was a housecleaner.

In honor of their 65th anniversary, an open house is planned 2-4 p.m. Sunday at First Christian Church. The open house will be hosted by their daughters and sons-in-law: Brenda and Darrell BISGARD of Fairfield and Paula and Mike ADAM of Richland.

The couple also has eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The couple requests no gifts, but cards are welcome. Cards can be sent to 211 Southgate Circle, Unit C, Fairfield 52556.
