Darrel and Brenda BISGARD of Fairfield will observe their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Darrel BISGARD and Brenda BATES were married Oct. 5, 1974, at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Mr. BISGARD is employed by the city of Fairfield, and Mrs. BISGARD works at Iowa State Bank in Fairfield.
The couple has two children: Troy BISGARD and wife Angie of Fairfield, and Renee TELFER and husband Mike of Hedrick. They also have six grandchildren.
The BISGARDs celebrated with a trip to Kansas City with their children and grandchildren this summer.
