Page 2NELSONs celebrating 55th wedding anniversary
Pete and Sue NELSON of rural Fairfield will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary during an open house from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Fairfield Elks Lodge.
The couple were married Sept. 26, 1959, at the Fairfield Catholic church.
The NELSONs have three children: Tami PLEIN and husband Tom of Burlington, Janice KAUFMAN and husband Craig of Lockridge and Mike NELSON and wife Jodi of Altoona. They also have seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The NELSONs' children are hosting the celebration.
No gifts are necessary.
