WRIGHTs plan open house to celebrate 60th anniversary

Richard E. and Mary Belle WRIGHT of Hedrick will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary during an open house from 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday at Bladensburg Christian Church in Bladensburg.

The celebration is being hosted by the couple's children. They request no gifts.

Richard WRIGHT and Mary Belle DILLON were married Aug. 29, 1954, at the bride's parents' home in Hedrick. They are retired farmers.

The WRIGHTs have four children: Patricia SIMONTON and spouse Eris of Durango, Colorado; Ross WRIGHT and spouse Cherlyn of Batavia; Roger WRIGHT and spouse Staci of Fairfield; and Pamela HURLEY and spouse Bill of Katy, Texas. They also have 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
