Wayne C. and Loretta DIERS are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
The couple requests no gifts, but cards and memories would be welcome.
Their children Brenda DIERS of American Canyon, California, and Kevin DIERS of Dixon, Illinois, are hosting the event.
Loretta CRILE and Wayne DIERS were married Aug. 16, 1964, at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Hoyt Whitebread presiding.
Mr. DIERS is a mechanic retired from Centre States International Trucks in Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. DIERS is a cosmetologist and owner of Loretta's Country Salon.
