Page 2Belated card shower set for MORRILL's 97th birthday
Dorothy MORRILL of Fairfield celebrated her 97th birthday Sunday, and a belated card shower is planned.
Ms. MORRILL graduated with the Fairfield High School Class of 1935.
She was a licensed practical nurse for many years. She worked at Nelson Nursing Home and other health organizations.
She worked for attorney Gregg Pieper, and retired from his establishment at the age of 81.
Ms. MORRILL was an active member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and taught Sunday school for many years.
She was an active member of the Business and Professional Women organization for many years and was named Woman of the Year.
She is still a member of the Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary. She volunteered at the hospital, The Bargain Box and the Gift Shop for the auxiliary.
