Friday, March 29, 1996Pedrick memorials should be sent to Arizona college
The life of the late Willard H. PEDRICK, a distinguished legal scholar with many ties to Fairfield, was recognized earlier this month by the College of Law he founded at Arizona State University in Tempe.
PEDRICK graduated from Fairfield High School and Parsons College and returned frequently to the city. The Great Hall of Arizona State was named after him in 1984.
The university program included remarks by university President Lattie F. Coor; Carl C. Monk, executive director of the American Association of Law Schools; Robin Collin, University of Oregon School of Law; the Honorable William C. Canby, the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals; Alan Matheson, Arizona State University College of Law; and PEDRICK's lawyer-son, Dan PEDRICK.
The family has asked that memorials be directed to the Willard H. Pedrick Endowment Fund at the Arizona State College of Law.
