A. Kathryn KRIER of Sigourney will celebrate her 90th birthday during an open house from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Deer View Manor in Sigourney.
The celebration is being hosted by her children.
Mrs. KRIER was born Feb. 2, 1924, in rural Ollie. She has been a homemaker. She and the late Kenneth H. KRIER were married for 66 years.
She has five children: Richard KRIER and wife Bev of rural Ollie; James KRIER and wife Mary K. of rural Ollie; Larry KRIER and wife Diane of Cedar Rapids; Michael KRIER of rural Ollie; and Judy BOOK and husband Terry of rural Hedrick.
Mrs. KRIER also has 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
