Raymond and Betty HUNTER of Mount Pleasant will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the Fellowship Cup in Mount Pleasant.
Raymond HUNTER and Betty BURKY were married Dec. 11, 1943, by the late Reverend Hunt. They farmed for 45 years in Henry and Jefferson counties, retiring and moving to Mount Pleasant in 1988.
They have two sons; Bob HUNTER and wife Renee of rural Hillsboro and Dan HUNTER and wife Deanna of Harrison, Ark. They also have one granddaughter, two grandsons, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Friends and relativs are invited to come and give the couple their well-wishes; no gifts are requested. Cards can be sent to the couple at 505 S. Harrison St., Mount Pleasant 52641.
