"CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY. Twenty-five years ago on the Coop farm near Perlee Louis Easton and Miss Elizabeth Coop were married, the wedding being celebrated on Dec. 21, and in honor of the anniversary the three daughters of the couple planned a very pleasant surprise for them last evening in the shape of an anniversary reception and party. The oldest daughter, Miss Nellie, arrived home from Chicago, and Mr. Easton's aged mother, Mrs. Charles Easton of Salina, came in to spend the day, and the Eastons did not suspect they were to entertain a larger company in the evening. . . . ."
