12 Nov. 1850, Jadob PARK, age 62 years, resident of Jefferson County, Iowa, appeared before Sawyer Robinson, Clerk of the District Court, and declared he was a private in the company commanded by Capt. George Park, in the regiment of Virginia Volunteers commanded by Col. Cunnel or Connell, and Major Berson and Maj. Scott; that he volunteered at Rumney, Hampshire Co., Va., on or about 1 June 1812 for six months; was honorably discharged at Delaware, Ohio as will appear from the Muster Roll of said company; his discharge was sent to Washington, D. C., for the purpose of procuring a pension, as will appear from the enclosed letter from Senator Roane of Virginia.

18 June 1855, Nancy Ann PARK, aged 52 years, resident of Jefferson County, Iowa, widow of Jacob PARK, deceased. Married to the said Jacob PARK in Hampshire, Co., Virginia, 8th October 1829 by one ______ Rhodes, a Methodist minister, her name before her said marriage was Nancy Ann BONHAM; her husband died in Jefferson Co., Iowa, 27 day October 1851; her husband made application for bounty land under act approved Sept. 28, 1850, and obtained a land warrant for 80 A., No. 6174. Wit.: J. E. Mobley and George E. Wilson, residents of Fairfield.

Affidavit: “I Margaret Leigh, on solemn oath say that Nancy Ann BONHAM was married to Jacob PARK in my house in Hampshire Co., Virginia, on 8 October A. D. 1829 and that they continued to live together as husband and wife until the death of said Jacob in 1851.”

1 July 1879 – Nancy Ann PARK, widow aged 75 years, resident of Unionville, Appanoose County, Iowa.... husband discharged at Sandusky, Ohio.
