Jefferson County Will Record "B", pp. 49-50.

Will of John Crenshaw dated 29 May 1856; filed first Monday of July; ordered recorded 12 July 1856. Names: Dial Crenshaw, who has had 60 acres land conveyed to him by deed. I intend for him, Riley Simmons, and Samuel Horton having 40 A. of land each conveyed to them by deed.....I bequeath to James Ross.....I bequeath to John McCrillis.....Louiza Crenshaw.....Luceta Crenshaw.....Ellinora Crenshaw.....Leonard Crenshaw, and Emra Crenshaw, my two youngest sons.....Five youngest at home -- Luceta, Louiza, Ellinora, Leonard and Emra. Sons in law John McCrillis and Samuel Horton, Execs & Gdns. Witnesses: Theophilus Crenshaw and Wm. R. Simmons.
