Out of the Past in Pictures

A group of women climb into a coach owned by the Pumphrey Brothers for Fairfield's 1928 Labor Day parade on the west side of Fairfield Lumber Company. The driver is Fred VOGT, grandfather of James VOGT of Fairfield who is sharing this photo with Ledger readers today. Out of the Past in Pictures is a regular Ledger feature depicting the city's evolving history through photographs. To submit original photographs of historical significance, contact The Ledger newsroom at 472-2116.
