Jack and Dee BRADLEY of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Jack BRADLEY and Dolores "Dee" GODWIN were married Dec. 27, 1952, by the Rev. Sam Williamson at the Antioch Christian Church near Perlee.
Mr. BRADLEY was vice president of the former Brown Lynch Store and Martha Brown Ltd. in Fairfield for 27 years and the last 10 with the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Mrs. BRADLEY was District 5 secretary for the Iowa D.O.T. for 27 years and the last 12 worked with parents who had children eligible for the Hawkeye Insurance program.
The couple has two daughters, Debra UPDIKE and husband Charles of Jerseyville, Ill., and Sandra STEVER and husband Ralph of Fairfield. They also have two sons, Mark BRADLEY and wife Jeanna of Washington, Iowa, and Jason BRADLEY and wife Suzanne of Iowa City. They also have 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
