Jefferson County Records, p.11, Vol.3 Irwin and Hannah (Coop) Mitchell had moved to Decatur county IA before 1856. This information comes from their descendent Mrs. Ferne Klein of Des Moines IA, January 1964. Irwin and Hannah had children: Wm. N., Sarah Ann, Martha, John, Ruben, Nancy, Ellen and Malinda. Mrs. Klein identifies Hannah Coop as daughter of John and Sally (Martin) Coop.
