Page 2ADAMSONs celebrating 70th wedding anniversary
Leo "Bud" and Helen ADAMSON of Fairfield will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Sept. 21.
Bud ADAMSON and Helen McCALESTER were married Sept. 21, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo.
The couple has three children: Kenny ADAMSON and wife Marilyn of Coralville; Gary ADAMSON and wife Sheila of Ottumwa; and Judy McNIEL and husband Alan of Batavia. The couple also has six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. ADAMSON is a retired farmer, and Mrs. ADAMSON is a housewife.
They will be celebrating with a family dinner. The couple requests no gifts, but cards can be sent to 203 Southgate Circle, Unit D, Fairfield 52556.
