PARSONS celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

Wayne and Iola PARSONS of Richland celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Saturday, with family and friends.

Iola LOCK and Wayne PARSONS were married Aug. 10, 1947, at Woolson Friends church near Richland.

The couple's children hosted an open house at the church: Rita and Dennis EASTMAN of Packwood, Tim and Nancy PARSONS of Richland and Mary Beth and Ron PORCH of Bradenton, Fla.

Seven of the couple's nine grandchildren were able to attend the celebration, as were many out-of-town guests.

Guests had a choice of three cakes: cocolate (sic), white or carrot; ice cream, punch and coffee.
