Reunion
QUIGLEY

The annual QUIGLEY family reunion was held July 7 at Chautauqua Park, Shelter 2.

The original founders of the reunion, Charles and Laura QUIGLEY and their four sons and daughters are now deceased. The tradition is carried out by Pauline QUIGLEY ROGERS of Fairfield, who acts as secretary and treasurer.

A cooperative meal was served at noon by the 24 members present: Pauline QUIGLEY ROGERS of Fairfield; Lex RODGERS of Show Low, Ariz.; Doug QUIGLEY of Bonita Springs, Fla.; Robert and Phyllis GIDEON and Shiela GIDEON of North Liberty; Jeff, Melinda, Colton, Ryne and Z.J. BEEDING of Stanford, Ky.; Brad and Jane QUIGLEY and May and Nancy QUIGLEY of Wapello; Arnold DAVIS of Iowa City; Laurie QUIGLEY, Alex and Austin, Dave SMITH, J.D. FLETCHER of Muscatine; Cindy WOOD of Columbus Junction; Shirley TOMFELL and Wayne ALLEN of Letts.

Plans were made to have the reunion the first Saturday of July 2013 at the same place.
