The Pleasant Plain "Champion" tells of the reunion of the family of John and Margaret CARSE, residents of Jefferson County for more than half a century, in that place the 1st inst. Of eleven children born to these good people eight are now living and spent the day with their parents: J. H. CARSE, Council Bluffs; Mrs. Henry VOGEL (sic - Mary Alice), Anthony, Kan.; Mrs. S. M. RIDINGER (sic - Anna), Murray; Miss Addie CARSE, Exeter, Neb.; Mrs. J. M. BARTLETT (sic - Amy), Fairfield; W. A.; George H., and Miss Ethel CARSE, Pleasant Plain. Wives, husbands and children of various members of the family were also present. Mr. and Mrs. CARSE, with their eight children and seven grandchildren, were in this city Monday and had pictures taken of the entire group.
