Page 2CARTERs celebrating 60th wedding anniversary
William and Neva CARTER of Stockport will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary witn an open house hosted by their children from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Stockport American Legion Hall.
William C. CARTER and Neva STECKER were married June 1, 1952, in the Harrisburg Baptist Church. They have four children: Marsha APPLEMAN and husband Steve of Keosauqua, Mike CARTER and wife Trena of Columbus, Ind., Merrill CARTER and wife Susan of Greer, S.C., and Mark CARTER and wife Shelley of Stockport. They also have seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. CARTER is a retired farmer, and Mrs. CARTER is a retired elementary school teacher.
The couple requests no gifts. Cards are welcome, and can be sent to 28422 Highway 16, Stockport 52651.
