Page 2PHIPPSes celebrating 25th wedding anniversary
Joseph and Mary PHIPPS of Fairfield will clebrate their 25th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Fairfield First Presbyterian Church.
The community is invited to the celebration, which is being hosted by the church and the couple's son Duncan PHIPPS.
Joseph PHIPPS and Mary SALCHAK were married May 15, 1987, at LaMirada Presbyterian Church in LaMirada, Calif., with the Rev. Steven Carter officiating.
Mr. PHIPPS is pastor of Fairfield First Presbyterian Church and a member of Fairfield Lions Club, Band Aides, Fairfield Area Community Theatre, Fairfield Ministerial Association and Greater Fairfield Habitat for Humanity.
Mrs. PHIPPS is employed by Nurse in House. She is a member of F.A.C.T and the Fairfield High School Chocolate Sunday committee.
The couple has one son, Duncan PHIPPS, a freshman at FHS.
