Page 4, Column 3Mrs. Jacob SCHAFER of Walnut Township, when she was a girl, was called Catherine RIDINGER. She was a daughter of George RIDINGER and was a resident of Penn Township.

Admin. note: Catherine was first married to Julius LIPPMAN; in 1890 she married Jacob SCHAFER. She is buried in Henry County, Iowa. Husband Jacob is buried in Germanville Union Free Cemetery, Walnut Twp., Jefferson County, IA, with his first two wives; Sarah was his third.
