S. G. PHEASANT and daughter are here visiting with his sister, Mrs. James MONTGOMERY, on East Lowe St., and other relatives and friends. Mr. PHEASANT is an old Jefferson County boy, born in Walnut township in 1846 but moved to Fremont, Nebr., many years ago. The senior editor of this paper and he were boy chums at school over 50 years ago and we very much enjoyed meeting him.
