REUNION
FHS CLASS OF 1948

The Fairfield High School graduating class of 1948 held its 63rd reunion Oct. 8, with 45 people attending.

The group met Oct. 7 at the Walton Club for socializing and dinner.

A banquet was held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center, with a social time and a photo taken of the 31 classmates.

The Rev. Paul REEDER gave the dinner blessing. Jack JACOBS presided as master of ceremonies. Barbara RAIL SMITH presented a memorial for the 62 deceased classmates. Classmates introduced themselves and gave a brief history of what they have done since graduation and introduced their spouse or guest.

Classmates attending from out of town were: Paul BROWN and his son of Mesa, Ariz.; Edward and Joan BARNETT of Midway, Ark.; Richard DUNN of Beatrice, Neb.; Glen and Virginia GOEHRING of Marion; Jim GLASGOW and his brother Bill of Dallas, Texas; Wesley and Virginia GREENFIELD of Bettendorf; Florence and Carl GRABER of Lockridge; Dick HEATER of Keosauqua; Arlys and Bill HENDRICKS of Davenport; Jack and Betty JACOBS of Burlington; Jerry and Betty KESSELL of Geneseo, Ill.; Joy MAKEPEACE PARROTT of Mesa, Ariz.; Alice McCARTY MASON and friend of Mountain Home, Ark.; Phyllis PARRETT PIERCE of Marion; Paul REEDER of Billings, Mont.; Paul and Donna REBLING of Mount Pleasant; Kenneth and Babe SAMUELSON of Rock Island, Ill.; Harold and Nancy STAVES of Santa Fe., N.M.; Lucille MACY STEVENSON of Williamsburg; Jennabelle WEST DUNN of Palatine, Ill.
