Lifestyles SectionHALLs celebrate golden wedding anniversary
Larry and Judith HALL of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at 1 p.m. Oct. 1 at McElhinny House.
Judith SWARTOUT and Larry HALL were married Sept. 23, 1961, at Stockport Christian Church in Stockport. Mrs. HALL is the first of two children of Cecil and Julia SWARTOUT of Stockport. Mr. HALL is thie third of six children of Elmer and Verle HALL of Birmingham.
The couple has lived their entire married life in Fairfield. Mrs. HALL retired in 2001 from Iowa State Bank after 23 years of employment. Mr. HALL works part time at Larry's Barber Shop on the Fairfield square after more than 50 years at the same location.
The HALLs have four children: Todd HALL and wife Julia of Wildwood, Mo.; Stephanie BOND and husband Dwight of Byron, Ill.; Kimberly HALL of West Des Moines; and Chad HALL and wife Annie of Las Vegas, Nev. They also have seven grandchildren.
The HALLs invite all family and friends to the open house. They request no gifts.
