County Line; born April 18 1809 in Pendleton Co., Va.; when an infant came with his parents to Ohio; in 1862 came to Jefferson County; married Mary WELLS in 1845; she was born Feb 24 1822 in Ohio; died July 5 1850; one child -- Rebecca J., now Mrs. RAKESTRAW, living in Illinois; second marriage was to Ellen STELWELL, May 12 1853, she was born June 2 1821 in Miami Co., Ohio; six children, five living -- Thomas J., Elizabeth E., John W., Arta A., Joseph M.; lost James K., aged 2 years.
