Situated along Fairfield's old boardwalk, the Trissie E. SCHERTZ millinery shop, pictured, is believed to have been located on the north side of the square in the early 1900s. Paul HALFERTY of Ottumwa, whose wife's great-aunt owned the shop, is curious to find out the shop's exact whereabouts, when it was open for business and any additional information. HALFERTY can be contacted at (641) 683-1596.
