No stone found for Corp. James H. BAKER, Co. D, 7th Iowa Cavalry Regiment. However, the following information was given 19 Feb. 1964 by the Jefferson County Auditor's Office, from Vol. 1, "Soldiers' Graves Registrations," in their custody: Soldier was son of John BAKER; born 1819 in Ohio; age 72 at death at Baker P.O., Iowa; buried Moyer Cemetery.
