ROUND PRAIRIE--Mr. and Mrs. Burton LITTON of Round Prairie township, Jefferson County, recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary (6th Nov. 1856). Mr. LITTON was born in Illinois on Jan. 26, 1837 and came to Iowa with his parents when but a small boy, being about 8 years of age. He, with one brother, Benjamin LITTON of Chariton, Iowa, are the only survivors of the family. Mrs. LITTON, formerly Sarah E. LOWEN, was born in Illinois Aug. 19, 1836, and came with her parents to Iowa.... Since Nov. 6, 1856, they have resided in Round Prairie Township in Jefferson County. Thirteen children, nine living -- three daughters and six sons, and all but two reside on farms near the old home. One son, McCellan LITTON, lives in Ottumwa, and one daughter, Mrs. Lizzie WILSON, lives in Oklahoma.....
