WEDDED FIFTY YEARS.

Venerable Cedar Township couple travel life's way together half century.... Ephriam STOUT was born in Sangamon County, Ill., and when he was quite young his parents, George and Phoebe STOUT, moved to the vicinity of Glasgow, finally settling on a farm in Section 20 of Round Prairie Township.... Less than a mile away was the farm of Thomas and Eliza (MOORE) MILLER. Mr. MILLER was another pioneer of Jefferson County. His farm was in Section 19 of Round Prairie Township. Angeline MILLER was born in Glasgow, Iowa, and with her parents settled on the farm two miles west of the village..... Mr. John MILLER of Macon, Mo., was present at the anniversary celebration, brother of Mrs. STOUT; also three sisters of Mrs. STOUT - Mrs. Alice LOVING of Creston, Iowa; Mrs. Jane FIEDLER, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. COCHRAN and family..... Mr. and Mrs. STOUT settled on Section 24 of Cedar Township, where they still reside, practically in sight of their childhood's homes.
