SLOANs celebrating 55th wedding anniversary

Clarence and Janet SLOAN of Batavia will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary April 29.

Clarence SLOAN and Janet SPILMAN were married April 29, 1956, at First Methodist Church in Eldon. The Rev. Earl Erb officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The SLOANs are the parents of two children, David SLOAN of West Branch and Dana TYLER (Jamie) of LeClaire. They have one grandson, three step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

The couple would appreciate cards, which may be sent to them at 2235 Fir Ave., Batavia 52533.
