Lifestyles SectionHOSTETLER celebrating 80th birthday
LaVon HOSTETLER of Fairfield will celebrate her 80th birthday April 10.
Mrs. HOSTETLER was born April 10, 1931, in Fairfield. She grew up in the Lockridge area and graduated from Fairfield High School. She married Richard HOSTETLER on Feb. 25, 1950, in Lockridge. The HOSTETLERs lived most of their married life in the Lockridge area, moving to Fairfield in 1999 before his passing in 2005.
Mrs. HOSTETLER has three children: Deb JOHNSON of Fairfield, Gary HOSTETLER and wife Donna of North Liberty, and Marcia BARNES and husband Craig of Cobble Hill, British Columbia.
Mrs. HOSTETLER enjoys gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends in Iowa and Arizona. In 2010, she zip-lined over several canyons in Colorado.
Cards may be mailed to Mrs. HOSTETLER at 808 S. Seventh St. A family celebration will be held in August.
