VAN NESS to celebrate 85th birthday

Virginia VAN NESS of Fairfield is turning 85 years old March 17.

Mrs. VAN NESS has been a farm wife, waitress, mother and home-maker, as well as an employee at Universal Producing Company. She was married to Harold VAN NESS for more than 54 years until his death in 2001.

Mrs. VAN NESS is the mother of Bill VAN NESS of Lockridge, Kenny VAN NESS of Fairfield and Sarah JOBE of Peoria, Ill.

Her children will be hosting a card and memory shower on her behalf. Cards and memories may be sent to her at 504 W. Adams Ave., Fairfield.

Calls and visits would also be welcome from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 19 and from 1-5 p.m. March 20. She can be reached by phone at 472-2632.
