Family of Capt. John M. WOODS, Co. B, 19th Iowa Vol. Inf. Reg. Tombstone is in Evergreen Cemetery, so the remains of the children who died before 1870 must have been moved from the Old Cemetery (sic - Old Fairfield City Cemetery) to the new:

WOODS: Eliza A., wife of Capt. J. M. WOODS,
Died at O'Fallon, Mo., Sept. 16, 1887,
Aged 69 yrs. 1 mo. 7 Ds.

James W., son of J.M. & E.A., Died Sept 27 1858
Aged 1 yr. 6Ms. 12Da.

Iowa K., Dau. of J.M. & E.A., Died Sept 25 1859
Aged 1 yr. 10Ms. 11Ds.

Mary M., Dau. of J.M. & E.A., Died Dec 15 1862
Aged 13 ys. 6Ms. 15Ds.

100 E. Jefferson. Mrs. Eli BLOUGH. Built by John WOODS in 1859 and rebuilt in 1924 by Mr. BLOUGH. It was Mr. WOODS' residence for many years. He was a manufacturer of woolen goods and a Civil War veteran. D. G. HIGLEY lived there for years.

18, 1862. Mustered Aug. 18, 1862. Taken prisoner Sept. 29, 1863, Atchafalaya, La. Promoted
Captain Aug. 13, 1864. Discharged March 11, 1865.
