BROWNs to celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

Bettye and Bob BROWN of Fairfield will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with family Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. BROWN were married Dec. 24, 1945, at the home of the bride's parents, Olive and Leonard HISEL, in Fairfield.

Before retirement, Mr. BROWN was an office manager at Jefferson Motor Company. Mrs. BROWN was a housewife and later worked in Hy-Vee's meat department.

The BROWNs are the parents of Ron BROWN and wife Sharon, Nancy HUFF and husband Phil, and Barbara McLARNEY and husband Joe, all of Fairfield; Phil BROWN and wife Cindy of Marion; and Doug BROWN and wife LuAnne of Richland. They are the grandparents of 11 grandchildren and their spouses, and they also have five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
