Laverne and Judy WEBER of Richland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 5 at Lake Darling Lodge in Lake Darling State Park.
Laverne WEBER and Judy SCHMITZ were married Sept. 10, 1960, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ottumwa with Monsignor W.E. Cullinan officiating.
Mr. WEBER is a retired farmer, and Mrs. WEBER is a retired nurse.
Their children are Becky of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Liz of Hedrick; Jeff of Richland; and Susie of Altoona. They have 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The WEBERs request no gifts, but cards may be sent to them at 32581 335th St., Richland 52585.
