SHAFERs celebrating 60th wedding anniversary

Nonie and Wesley SHAFER of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.

The SHAFERs were married at Saint John's Methodist Church in Davenport.

The couple's children are Melissa SHAFER of Fairfield and Sarah and husband Tony HALSEY of West Des Moines. The HALSEYs will also be celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary on the same day.
