McCREEDY to celebrate 80th birthday

Ernie McCREEDY of rural Fairfield will turn 80 on May 30.

After graduating from Fairfield High School in 1948 and serving in the U.S. Air Force, he farmed on his family's farm near Packwood and worked at Parsons College. He then was plant engineer at the Nelson Company of Fairfield, retiring in 1997 after 23 years.

All friends and relatives are invited to help celebrate this event with an open house form 3-6 p.m. May 29 at Todd and Theresa McCREEDY's home, 1364 Juniper Avenue, Fairfield.
