FLEIG to turn 80 years old

Milburn D. FLEIG of rural Fairfield will celebrate his 80th birthday on May 2. Mr. FLEIG was born near Brighton on May 2, 1930. He has lived most of his life in Jefferson County.

Mr. FLEIG farmed for many years near Libertyville and also operated a livestock and rock trucking service. He and other Libertyville and Birmingham area farmers did custom combining each year near the town of Strasburg, North Dakota. He also was a financial planner for over 30 years with Principal Mutual, formerly known as The Bankers Life Insurance Company, in Des Moines.
