Howard DURIAN stands by the Iowa pillar of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., Oct. 13. The Central Iowa Honor Flight for WWII veterans was sponsored by Casey's General Stores with the theme, "Because They Did, We Can." Also selected for the flight was John KOONTZ, Junior FARRIER, Don SCHERER and Don LAUDER.
