Fairfield High School Class of 1959

The Fairfield High School Class of 1959 celebrated its 50th class reunion Friday and Saturday.

Gwen WELLS, former teacher of home economics attended as a guest. Jane RUBY was unable to attend, but sent her greetings and a picture of herself at 90 years of age. Also invited guests but unable to attend were Anna BRENNEMAN, Lee CREW and Robert GLOCKE.

Some attendees braved the wet weather to attend the high school football game and took a tour of the high school.

The reunion ended with a dinner at the Fairfield Golf & Country Club decorated in the 50's with rock and roll music. Attendees were entertained with the band of Ron FISCHER and company as well as a trio of classmates, Connie ABBOTT, Patti WINFREY and Gingy LANGNER singing "Lollipop" and a version of "Growing Old."

Attendance for the dinner numbered more than 80 including guests and spouses.
