CARTER Reunion

The descendants of the late John and Bertha SYFERT CARTER had a reunion July 26 at Hillsboro with 57 individuals attending.

Fairfield participants were as follows: Harry and Marie CLARK, Maxine TEDROW, Vicki TILLIS with Ethan and Kendra, Dwight and Anna COPELAND, Tammy TUTTLE, Leroy and Renee LETTS and Tyler COOK.

Other area attendees include Mabel CARTER, Harold and Carol CARTER, Deanna CARTER and Roger HASTINGS of Keosauqua; Billy and Marcella PREVO and Leon, Larry, and Mary Lou MOFFETT of Bloomfield; Helen NELSON and Wendall and Deb DOROTHY of Birmingham; Betty WALLACE and James ANDERSON of Stockport; Gene and Linda CARTER, Terri REINER with Kelly and Hannah; Michael DOROTHY and Gale and Marie CARTER of Stockport.

Others attending included Jerry and Janet RILEY of Des Moines; Jared HOLIDAY of Waukee; Marvin and Peggy CRABLE and Lois BROWN of Davenport; Lynn and Shirley PENDER of Blairstown; Mark and Misti NOVEK and family of Mount Union; Larry and Barb PENDER of Burlington; Dorothy CARTER and Gary and Marlene CARTER of Mount Pleasant and Corey COOK of Iowa City.

Individuals traveling from out of state include Leo and Pat PENDER of Silvis, Ill.; and Marlene HENRY and John JORDAN of Memphis, Mo.

The 2010 reunion will be July 25 at the Stockport Legion Hall with families of the late Frank and Lena CARTER CLARK hosting.
