Lifestyles SectionRENEKERs celebrate 50 years
William and Emily RENEKER will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. July 19 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.
William Daniel RENEKER and Emily STONE were united in marriage July 10, 1959, at the First Methodist Church in Atlantic with the Rev. Donald C. Bissinger officiating.
The RENEKERs lived in Ames before moving to Fairfield in 1965. Mr. RENEKER retired as president of French-Reneker-Associates, Inc., Engineers and Surveyors in 1994. The couple now resides near Douds.
Hosts for the open house will be their three sons: Steven and wife Susan of Grimes, Scott and wife Terri of Fairfield and Jeff and wife Lixing of Columbia, Mo., along with their four grandchildren. All friends and family are invited to attend.
Last summer, the entire RENEKER family took a Mediterranean cruise in honor of the anniversary.
