Lifestyles SectionSKAGGSes will celebrate 65th wedding anniversary
Howard and Irma SKAGGS of Birmingham will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Birmingham Lions Building.
Howard SKAGGS and Irma NELSON were married July 4, 1944, at the First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. Mr. SKAGGS is retired from farming and Rockwell International. Mrs. SKAGGS is an Avon representative.
The couple have four children: Linda DAVIDSON of Birmingham, Marsha McDONALD of Norwalk, Janet MANNING of West Des Moines and Randy SKAGGS of Danville, Ill. They have 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend the open house celebration.
