THOMASes will have 68th anniversary with reception

Stuart and Doris THOMAS of rural Keosauqua will observe their 68th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday at the Starlite Lodge Café in Cantril.

Stuart THOMAS and Doris DeVAULT were married June 22, 1941, at the rural Libertyville home of the bride's parents. The Rev. Putnam officiated the ceremony.

Hosting the reception will be the couple's children: Ivan THOMAS of Douds, Melvin and Judy THOMAS of Keosauqua and Shirley and Wayne "Bruzz" TEDROW of Cantril. Their eight grandchildren will host as well.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple request no gifts at the reception.
