BENELLs celebrate 50 years

Gary and Sharon BENELL of Hedrick will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. June 20 at Family Harvest Church in Agency; a program will be given before the open house from 2-2:30 p.m..

Sharon Kay DAVIS and Gary Allen BENELL were married June 21, 1959, at the Martinsburg Methodist Church with the Rev. John Robinson officiating. Attendants at the ceremony were Kenneth and Arlene NORRIS.

The couple has three children: Ted and Michelle of Georgetown, Ky.; Susan and Jeff of Tulsa, Okla.; and Julia and Wyatt of Owasso, Okla. They have 10 grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

The BENELLs are still active in full-time ministry throughout the United States and numerous nations in the world.
