Norman Lee and Jo Rae PEIFFER of Murray, Ky., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Norman PEIFFER and Josephine Rae HOGENDORN June 13, 1959, in North English (sic). Mrs. PEIFFER is the daughter of the late Carl and Bertilla HOGENDORN of North English, and she was the Fairfield High School media specialist for 25 years before she retired in 1996. Mr. PEIFFER is the son of the late Steve and Gertrude PEIFFER of Sigourney and was a member of the Iowa State Bank and Trust Company staff for numerous years before his retirement in 1996. Upon retirement, the couple moved to Murray, Ky.
Their children, all graduates of Fairfield High School, are Jeffrey Steven PEIFFER of Rowlett, Texas; Teresa Lyn PEIFFER of Murray, Ky.; Jacqueline Marie KRAFT of Westlake, Ohio.; and Mark Kendall PEIFFER of Washington, Ill. They have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Their children will host an extended family barbecue for them in July at their home on Kentucky Lake. Cards and messages can be sent to them at 81 Woodridge Lane, Murray, Ky. 42071.
