Fairfield native Robert C. Mitchell graciously provided a copy of this picture of the graduating class of Fairfield High School for 1895. Robert is a grandson of Gertrude Mae CALDWELL HISEL and Charles Edward HISEL; Gertrude is in the middle row, fourth from the left.

Also in the picture is June CHIDESTER who was once superintendent of schools and later the principal at Washington School, during 1939-1942; June is in the middle row, second from the left.

The last person Robert was able to identify is Mr. McQUISTON who was manager of the telephone office in Fairfield for many years; he's in the front row, fourth from the left.
