FLEIG marks 80th birthday

Mary Elizabeth FLEIG of Fairfield will celebrate her 80th birthday Tuesday with a card shower.

FLEIG is the daughter of Mary Margaret RUSK NEWLON and the late Willis NEWLON. She is a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Fairfield. FLEIG owned and operated the Libertyville Grocery during the late 1960's and early 1970's. She then worked for a number of years for the City of Fairfield Water Department.

Her children are Roger and Carrie FLEIG of Yelm, Washington; Ronald FLEIG; Marilyn FLEIG WELLS of Fairfield and Leonard and Kay FLEIG of Lincoln, Neb. She has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her family will join her for a birthday dinner.
