(Jefferson County Records?) Affidavit dated October 15, 1912, filed November 18, 1913

Swan NELSON, a son of Charles G. NELSON, on oath says father owned SE¼ NE¼ and N½ of SW frl ¼ except 21 acres, Sec. 7, Twp. 73, R. 10. His father left heirs: Johanna C. NELSON his widow and my mother, she was known as Hanna C. NELSON. Since the death of my father she has intermarried with Lars A. LARSON and her name is now Johanna or Hanna LARSON; also children as follows: Charles W. NELSON, Swan NELSON (the affiant), Caroline NELSON, Cannute NELSON, John F. NELSON, Samuel NELSON, Beda NELSON and Clara NELSON. Said Charles W. NELSON, a son, died following the death of our father, intestate, leaving no wife or issue..... Carrie WIDNER who intermarried with W. R. WIDNER, identical with Caroline NELSON; N. A. NELSON identical with Cannute NELSON.... Andrew JOHNSON was my grandfather being the father of my mother Hanna C. or Johanna NELSON. He died prior to the year 1886 and left as his sole and only heirs, my grandmother being dead, and three children: Carl Johan ANDERSON, Anders Garen ANDERSON, and they with their wives Johanna ANDERSON and Anna Louisa ANDERSON, and my mother the third child, or Hanna C. NELSON.
